Cadillac Ranch (Near Amarillo, TX)

The Cadillac Ranch is 10 Cadillac's made between 1949 and 1963 have buried in the ground (nose first) and set at the same angle as the side of the Great Pyramid at Giza. You can find directions to it at RoadsideAmerica.com (BTW, if you enjoy seeing oddball stuff, this is a great site to visit). This was something I've heard about but had never seen in person. I wanted to see it the last time I was in Amarillo four years ago but the timing just didn't work out then. This year, I got a chance to go and it was pretty neat to see. One word of warning if you decide to go: Graffiti is encouraged on these cars and there were several people actively painting while we were there. If the smell of spray paint bothers you a lot, this may not be the place to go. Also, make sure you stay up wind from the people painting.
