Speedometer Gear Chart
If you have already looked at the information
on this page, you may be wondering why I bothered. If your car is 100% stock and
everything still works correctly, the charts may be just useless trivia to you. If
however, you are restoring a modified car to stock, or you want to but bigger tires on the
car, knowing which speedometer gear you need is critical to the proper operation of your
speedometer. You can also use this chart to determine what rear axle ration your car has
in it. Like anything else with this much manual entry, I cannot assure 100% accuracy here.

Note:
RPM here means Rotations Per Mile.
